The Andorran swimmer, representing the Federació Andorrana de Natació (FAN), came within six tenths of a second of his personal best in the event. He had earlier competed in the 100m breaststroke on the opening day, clocking 1:03.85.
Pelegrina now turns his attention to the short-course season in 25m pools. He intends to make necessary training adjustments in the coming months to approach his top form. His key goal is the World Championships in Beijing this December, where he hopes to achieve the required qualifying marks.
