The versatile scorer, a long-term target, brings six ACB seasons and international experience with Canada

MoraBanc Andorra has secured the signing of Canadian guard Kassius Robertson, a 30-year-old long-term target for the club who does not occupy a non-EU player slot thanks to his Jamaican passport and the Cotonou agreement.

The versatile exterior, known for his scoring ability and one-on-one prowess, ended last season with Dreamland Gran Canaria after joining them in January from Russia's Lokomotiv Kuban. There, he played 19 games with averages of 8.4 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and a 4.5 valuation rating in an irregular stint that tapered off. Sporting director Jordi Ardèvol finalized the deal, with the club set to announce it soon. Robertson fits a profile similar to Sir'Jabari Rice, who featured strongly late in the prior campaign before moving to Venice.

MoraBanc had pursued him a year ago during Xavier Castañeda's injury but lost out to Gran Canaria's superior financial offer. Robertson brings extensive ACB experience across six seasons and 165 games. He began in Spain with Monbus Obradoiro for two stints, averaging 15.2 and 14.6 points initially, then 17.4 points in 25 games upon returning from Italy's Reggio Emilia. At Valencia Basket, he played one year of a two-year contract alongside Shannon Evans II. His strongest ACB run came at Joventut Badalona, where he averaged 14.6 points, including a 25-point, 28-valuation debut against UCAM Murcia.

Robertson's European career started after four U.S. college seasons—three at Canisius Golden Griffins and one at Missouri Tigers—followed by Germany’s Medi Bayreuth and Italy’s Fortitudo Bologna, where he posted 14.1 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists. He has represented Canada internationally, sharing the court with fellow MoraBanc player Aaron Best at recent Pre-World Cups and AmeriCup qualifiers.
