Nacho Quintana Impressed by FC Andorra's Intensity and Title Ambitions

Nacho Quintana, FC Andorra's new midfielder, has voiced strong confidence in the club's upward trajectory following his official presentation at the Nou Estadi de la FAF.

The 25-year-old, who arrived from CD Eldense after a standout season with nine goals, described a smooth adaptation to the team. He praised the warm reception from teammates and the squad's polished play. "The team is very well-oiled, knows exactly what it's doing, and we have things very clear," Quintana said.

He highlighted how the side's style—featuring high pressing, intensity, possession-based football, and attacking intent—matches his profile as an offensive midfielder. Though he started on the left wing in the latest friendly, Quintana prefers the number 10 role, where he thrived last year. The Toledo-born player called FC Andorra "a club that fits perfectly with what I need as a footballer" and commended the ambition to climb rather than just hold steady. "I love people who want to go upwards and not just maintain," he added.

Arriving with momentum from his prior campaign, Quintana aims to elevate his game without setting specific targets. He wants regular minutes, strong personal output, and a successful team season overall.

Quintana has already scored twice in pre-season matches against Inter and Millwall, playing both centrally and wide. Despite rigorous sessions since relocating to Andorra weeks ago, he is settling in well, enjoying the mountain surroundings and mild weather. His partner joined him at the event, and he anticipates a comfortable life in the Principality. He suggested the squad may add prominent players before the campaign ends.

Separately, FC Andorra has exceeded last season's season-ticket sales by late July, topping 1,600 renewals with nearly 95% retention from prior holders. The season kicks off in three weeks.
