Nacho Quintana Impressed by FC Andorra's Intensity and Title Ambitions

Nacho Quintana, the FC Andorra's latest signing, expressed surprise at the team's high intensity and quality during his official unveiling at the Nou Estadi de la FAF on Sunday afternoon.

The 25-year-old midfielder, who joined from CD Eldense after scoring 11 goals and providing three assists last season, said the squad feels far more prepared than a team just one week into pre-season training. "The group is well-drilled, knows exactly what it's doing, and has clear ideas," he noted, adding that the players' level gives the side genuine title aspirations this year.

Quintana praised coach Carles Manso's ambitious project, which emphasises intense high pressing and an attractive, ball-playing style that produces plenty of goals. He believes it suits his strengths perfectly, especially in his preferred role as a number 10, where he excelled last term. The Toledo native has already netted twice in pre-season—against Inter and Millwall—while featuring on the left wing and centrally.

Arriving with strong confidence, Quintana set personal targets of playing every match and delivering solid numbers, without specifying goal tallies. Collectively, he prioritises a strong campaign and positive results. He highlighted the warm dressing-room welcome and the club's drive to progress rather than merely survive.

Despite heavy training sessions since moving to Andorra a few weeks ago, Quintana is enjoying life in the Principality. He appreciates training amid mountains in the pleasant climate and expects both he and his partner—who attended the presentation—to settle in comfortably. He hinted that while the current roster lacks big names, that could change by season's end.

Meanwhile, FC Andorra has surpassed last season's season-ticket sales before the end of July, exceeding 1,600 subscribers with nearly 95% of prior holders having renewed. The campaign starts in three weeks.
