Scott Racing's Davide Foccoli and Stefano Goria claimed the men's overall title at the sixth Andorra Epic Pyrenees, finishing with a 1:31 lead over Klimatiza Orbea's David Valero and Samuele Porro. Massi ISB Sport's Mónica Calderón and Costanza Fasolis secured the women's crown, ending 7:20 ahead of Metallurgica Veneta-Next Ride.
The four-stage mountain bike event concluded Sunday with a 45km finale from La Massana featuring over 1,600m of positive elevation. Foccoli and Goria managed their 51-second overnight lead, boosted when Valero and Porro suffered a puncture. Torpado Kenda FSA's Gioele de Cosmo and Casey South took the stage, with the champions crossing second. In the women's race, Calderón and Fasolis controlled their buffer as Torpado Kenda FSA's Katažina Sosna-Pinelė and Giorgia Marchet won the stage ahead of them.
The Italian pair had set the tone early. They won Thursday's 49km opener with 1,440m of climbing by one second over Valero and Porro after a late attack. Calderón and Fasolis led women by 2:09 over Maria Zarantonello and Chrystelle Baumann, while Sosna-Pinelė and Marchet lost over 20 minutes to a puncture.
Friday's queen stage—61km, 2,200m elevation—saw Foccoli and Goria recover from a one-minute deficit on the Coll d'Ordino climb, exploiting rivals' mechanicals to win by 1:57 and take a 1:58 general lead. Resort Princesa Parc's Xavier Jové and Oriol Pi, representing the Andorran Cycling Federation, placed 19th that day and 17th overall at the time. Calderón and Fasolis repeated for a 7:20 women's edge after Torpado took second.
Saturday's 52km stage to La Massana (1,300m elevation) narrowed the men's gap. Orbea Speed Company's Lukas Baum and Georg Egger won by three seconds over KTM Spada Brenta Brakes' Lorenzo Samparisi and Jacopo Billi, with Valero and Porro third at eight seconds back. The leaders finished fifth, 1:16 down, holding 51 seconds overall. Jové and Pi were 18th on the stage, reaching 17th in the UCI elite standings. Sosna-Pinelė and Marchet took women's honours with an early move, but Calderón and Fasolis limited losses to retain a 7:18 lead.
Jové and Pi ended 22nd overall after Pi's physical issues in the finale, where they placed 37th.
