Viñals holds a personal best of 59.63 seconds in the event. She spoke positively about her preparation despite the recent challenges. "I arrive quite motivated and with good feelings," she said. "I've never competed on this track before, but I know what it means."
Reflecting on Málaga, she added: "I didn't feel great there. I had an unfavourable lane and wasn't very motivated, but I gave it everything."
The athlete avoided setting specific time targets, emphasising her approach instead. "My only goal is to go out on the track with energy and give it my all," Viñals stated. "Honestly, I don't want to set expectations—I just want to run."
