Andorran tennis player Vicky Jiménez has qualified for the main draw of the WTA 1000 tournament in Toronto after defeating Spanish player Marina Bassols 6-0, 2-6, 6-3 in the final round of qualifying.

Jiménez will now take on American Alycia Parks in the first round. Parks, currently ranked No. 68 in the WTA standings, hails from Port St. Lucie. The pair have met twice before, with Parks winning both encounters—in 2024 and 2025, including a clash at the Madrid Mutua Open on 23 April.
