Andorra's under-15 football team suffered a 0-3 defeat to Gibraltar in its final group stage match at the UEFA Development Tournament in San Marino on Sunday.
Coach Albert Reyes' side had impressed earlier in the event with convincing wins. On Wednesday, they beat Liechtenstein 4-1, with Isaac Veiga netting a brace alongside goals from Iker Gálvez and Èric da Costa. The following day, Andorra triumphed 3-0 over hosts San Marino.
Gibraltar opened the scoring before the break in the decisive fixture and netted twice more after halftime to claim the points. The young Andorran players, who trained beforehand at CE Francesc Vila in La Massana, end the tournament with two victories and one loss, gaining key experience at international level.
