Andorran beach volleyball players Aina Garcia and Naran Casamajor will represent their country at the Under-18 European Championship in Izmir, Turkey, from September 16 to 20.
The duo qualified through a bronze medal performance at last year's event, hosted in Andorra, which positioned them among Europe's leading youth pairs. Following a summer filled with rigorous training and competitions, they also competed at the Under-19 European Championship in the Principality.
Naran Casamajor voiced optimism about their preparation ahead of the tournament. She highlighted the intensive work over recent months and said the event will allow them to assess their progress. "It will be an opportunity to see what level we're at, what we can improve, and what we can adopt from other teams," Casamajor said.
Their participation underscores the growing momentum of beach volleyball in Andorra on the continental youth stage.
