Enfaf Construccions Modernes begins its Primera Catalana Femenina campaign in Group 2 this Sunday at the Municipal Aitana Bonmatí in Sant Pere de Ribes, facing CD Ribes at 4pm.

Coach Jordi Roca's team enters the season after five weeks of pre-season preparation, with changes extending beyond the squad to competition structure and home venue. The side will now play matches at the FAF training centre in Borda Mateu rather than the Estadi Nacional, as in recent years. The Catalan Football Federation has shifted the team to Group 2, pitting it against mostly Barcelona and Tarragona opponents—plus one from Lleida—instead of last season's Girona rivals.

The roster sees limited alterations. New arrivals include Catalan left-back Júlia Duarte, formerly at Iowa Western with Neus Rosas and Lia Gil, and Argentine midfielder Brenda Garró from Pas de la Casa.

Pre-season results were mixed: losses of 7-1 to ONA Sant Adrià's youth team and 2-1 to AEM's youth side, offset by a 5-0 win over CE Llavaneres.

Roca outlined measured goals, prioritising performance in every match to aid players' international opportunities. "If we commit fully each time, we'll be contenders for promotion," he told Diari d'Andorra. Finishing first in the group would qualify for a new top women's division planned by the federation for 2027-2028 above Preferent; positions two through eight lead to Preferent, with its two groups of 14 teams.

On opponents, Roca noted the unfamiliarity. "We're a bit lost— they don't know us, and we don't know them," he said, singling out Reus for a strong squad and citing Queens League players in the area. He anticipates a more competitive year and aims to improve away form, a prior weakness.

Tactically, the team plans an adjusted attacking setup while retaining a solid defensive block that kept it among the lowest-scoring teams conceded last season.
