FC Andorra Extends Teenage Full-Back Tiago Olmedo's Contract to 2030

FC Andorra has extended the contract of teenage full-back Tiago Olmedo until June 2030, securing the academy product's long-term future with the club.

The Segunda División side confirmed the four-year agreement, which underscores their belief in the 18-year-old's potential. From Manresa, Olmedo has trained with the first team under coach Carles Manso since this summer and was named in the squad for the opening three league matches against Ceuta, Celta Fortuna, and Eibar—though he has yet to make his senior debut.

Despite his youth eligibility, Olmedo will keep balancing sessions with Andorra's senior group and the Gimnàstic de Manresa under-19s in División de Honor. He already featured for Andorra's reserve side in their season-opening 1-0 win over Racing Zaragoza.

The player, who developed through CE Manresa and Gimnàstic de Manresa, called the first-team environment a major shift. He described it as "a radical change in both my life and footballing career—an unforgettable experience I need to make the most of." Olmedo expressed eagerness to learn and contribute, saying he aims "to absorb every bit of learning and concepts I can, while doing my utmost to help the group perform at its best."

Club representatives called the deal "a clear sign of the trust we place in his progression," allowing the prospect to gain exposure while logging competitive youth minutes.
