FC Santa Coloma's youth team lost 0-3 to Macedonian side Brera Strumica in the first leg of the UEFA Youth League preliminary round at the Estadi Nacional.

The Andorran squad, featuring players including goalkeeper Richard Tavares, Diego Garcia, Jan Ros, Adrià Bou, Micael Sousa, Gerard Lluís, Pau de Tomàs, Aram Bellsolà, Marc Jansà, Victor Oliveira and Luis Manuel, held firm through the first half despite intense pressure from the visitors.

Brera Strumica broke the deadlock in the 57th minute through Buchkov, who converted a cross-shot at the far post. The Macedonians dominated thereafter, with Buchkov adding a second header in the 80th minute before Kuleski sealed the win in the 87th.

The return leg is scheduled for Wednesday, October 14, in Strumica, giving the Andorran side a chance to reverse the scoreline.
