MoraBanc Andorra announces friendly against UCAM Murcia following strong showing against Barça.
MoraBanc Andorra has scheduled an additional preseason friendly against UCAM Murcia next Tuesday at the Príncipe Felipe pavilion in San Javier, as part of the XXX Memorial García Zaragoza – Martínez Pardo.
The match, set for 19:30, offers the Principality side another test ahead of its Lliga Endesa opener on September 26. It comes after the team put in a solid performance yesterday against FC Barcelona in the VIII Trofeu d’Encamp.
That encounter served as Andorra’s preseason debut in front of fans at the Encamp facilities, capping an intense early September schedule that included a closed-door win over Cheshire Phoenix, 105-92, the previous Friday. Head coach Zan Tabak had his full squad available for the Barça game, following a training camp in Pas de la Casa.
Andorra faces Manresa on Wednesday in its Lliga Catalana debut, followed by a rematch with Barça on Thursday. A final-four classification would lead to another game on Sunday.
