Andorran alpine skier Carla Mijares is in the final stretch of preseason training ahead of her World Cup slalom debut on November 14 in Levi, Finland.

Representing the Andorran Ski Federation (FAE), Mijares will first head to the indoor facility in Peer, Belgium, for sessions on October 11, 12, and 13. She will then move to Levi for a training camp from October 18 to 28, subject to snow and weather conditions.

Following a short rest period in Andorra, the team plans to return to the Finnish resort on November 3 to gear up for the season start. The World Cup calendar continues with events in Gurgl, Austria, on November 21, and Killington, United States, on November 29.

Mijares will be guided this season by technician Pol Carreras. Her team is sharing work with Latvian skier Dzenifera Germane, who placed 15th in last year's World Cup rankings. This arrangement provides Mijares with joint training time alongside the experienced athlete, as well as access to Germane's ski technician.
