Andorra's men's futsal team fell 1-5 to the Netherlands at the Toni Martí pavilion on Friday evening, leaving Talín Puyaltó's side without a point after two matches in Group 8 of the Main Round of UEFA Futsal Qualifiers.

The Dutch effectively settled the contest before half-time, scoring four unanswered goals. Boukhari opened the scoring just past the ten-minute mark with a shot that deflected off a defender, and Chih doubled the lead less than a minute later after pouncing on a loose ball at the edge of the area. Chih struck again on 17 minutes for his second of the night, and Boukhari added a fourth in the 19th minute, seconds before the break.

Andorra had started brightly, with Josep Segura forcing a save from goalkeeper El Haouari early on. The visitors also hit the post through Ouaddouh before taking control. Andorra appealed for a penalty on Pol Villalta, but the referee waved play on.

A crowd of 612 attended Andorra's first home fixture of this qualifying phase, following their opening 4-0 defeat in Serbia. Before kick-off, players and spectators observed a minute's silence in memory of Jesús de Miguel, the Tenerife footballer who died this week.

The second half brought a more competitive Andorran display. Substitute goalkeeper Xavi López produced a string of saves, including a triple stop, to keep the deficit from growing. Adrià Blat pulled one back for the hosts in the 34th minute with a powerful diagonal strike that beat El Haouari, rewarding Andorra's improved pressure.

With five minutes remaining, Puyaltó introduced Roc Torres as a flying goalkeeper and pushed players forward in search of further goals. Andorra created chances but could not convert, and the attacking approach left space behind. Chih missed an opportunity to complete his hat-trick into an empty net, but Ceyar punished Andorra with ten seconds remaining, finishing into an unguarded goal to make it 1-5.

Mesquita and Torres were booked for Andorra, while Ceyar, Van der Wal and Ouaddouh received yellow cards for the Netherlands. Swiss referee Daniel Matkovic officiated.

Andorra will have the chance to respond when they travel to the Netherlands next Wednesday for the reverse fixture, their penultimate match of this Main Round group.
