ANDBike Second Edition Returns to La Massana June 20-21 with Exhibitors, Races, and Family Fun

The second edition of ANDBike will take place at Prat Gran in La Massana on June 20 and 21, gathering around 30 exhibitors from cycling brands for a festival blending sports, competition, and leisure to launch Andorra's cycling season.

Organised by Ocisport, the event will feature a dedicated exhibition zone with sector innovations, including bikes available for test rides. Key races include Cicloandorra, aimed at road cycling enthusiasts, and the Ebike Tour to explore the parish on electric bikes, with both limited to 300 participants total. Additional offerings comprise group outings, workshops, talks by cycling figures, family activities, food trucks, and live music.

Mònica Solé, La Massana's councillor for tourism, noted the deep-rooted ties between cycling and the parish, pointing to a mosaic by Sergi Mas in the recently fire-damaged Aigües d'Arinsal factory that depicts cyclists. She described cycling as ingrained in locals' "DNA" and reaffirmed commitment to cycle tourism to position Andorra as a top destination.

Technical director Albert Balcells, whose name was previously reported as Balcells, called the festival "a gateway to the world of cycling" for enthusiasts and newcomers alike. He highlighted its broader appeal, encompassing lived experiences and specific lifestyles beyond just riding, with everyone invited. The weekend will coincide with the Bike Parc d'Arinsal opening and the Clàssica Andorra race, generating a vibrant atmosphere and drawing international attention to La Massana's cycle tourism potential.
