The second edition of ANDBike will take place at Prat Gran in La Massana on June 20 and 21, drawing around 30 exhibitors from leading cycling brands for a festival of sports, competitions, and leisure activities to kick off Andorra's cycling season.
Organised by Ocisport, the event includes an exhibition area showcasing sector innovations, with various bike models available for test rides. Highlights feature the Ciclo Andorra-La Massana road cycling event for enthusiasts and the Ebike Tour to discover parish routes on electric bikes, capped at 300 participants combined. The programme also offers group rides, workshops, talks by cycling personalities, family-friendly options, food trucks, and live music.
La Massana's tourism councillor, Mònica Solé, emphasised cycling's longstanding connection to the parish, citing a mosaic by Sergi Mas at the recently fire-damaged Aigües d'Arinsal factory that shows cyclists. She said it forms part of locals' "DNA" and underlined ongoing support for cycle tourism to establish Andorra as a key destination.
Technical director Albert Balsells described the festival as a "gateway to the world of cycling" for both seasoned riders and newcomers. He stressed its appeal beyond just pedalling, embracing lived experiences, specific diets, and lifestyles, with an open invitation to all. The weekend aligns with the Bike Parc d'Arinsal opening and the Clàssica Andorra race, creating a lively hub that spotlights La Massana's cycle tourism on the international stage.
