The Andorran Tennis Federation (FAT) has named Èric Cervós, Guillem Davasse, Pablo Carrascosa, and Iu Blasi to its Davis Cup team for Europe Zone Group IV, set for 17-20 June in Tsaghkadzor, Armenia.
The four players earned their spots through a qualifying tournament at Princiesport. Cervós won the event outright, securing four victories to claim the top position. Davasse finished second with three wins and one loss, while Carrascosa took two victories. The final place came down to a match between Blasi and Pol Campamà, with Blasi prevailing 6-2, 6-0 to edge out the competition.
Andorra will face Albania, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Malta, and San Marino in the regional event, played on clay. The format includes two groups—one of three teams and one of four—with the top two from each advancing to semifinals. The final will determine promotion to a higher division for next year.
Last season, Andorra reached the semifinals in the same group but lost 1-2 to Kosovo, one of the teams that advanced.
