Andorra U17 Women Crush Albania 4-0, Equal Four National Records

Andorra's women's under-17 football team launched their Preeuropeu Group B6 campaign with a dominant 4-0 victory over Albania in Tirana, equalling four national records for margins of victory.

Noa Tesorero opened the scoring in the 25th minute, firing a low shot past goalkeeper Ambra Resiti into the near post. She added a second nine minutes later at the 34th mark, dribbling around the keeper and finishing into an empty net for a 2-0 lead. Albania's Marina Rushaj was sent off with a straight red card shortly before halftime, from the 37th minute according to one report, allowing Anna Bos Gelabert to curl in a spectacular long-range strike just after the break at the 47th. Emma Warboys, who has senior international caps, sealed the win in the 78th minute with a fierce shot from the edge of the box after a defender's short clearance.

The result matched Andorra's prior 4-0 wins, including a 5-1 UEFA U15 women's development tournament victory over Bulgaria in 2023 (for margin), a UEFA U16 development match against Malta, a Preeuropeu U21 game versus Ireland in 2025, and a UEFA U15 men's development tournament against Gibraltar in 2023. It was the team's fifth win by at least four clear goals.

Coach Jordi Pujol credited his players' composure: they controlled possession, managed Albania's counters, and stayed patient after the red card to create openings without taking unnecessary risks.

The squad featured Joana Babot, Naroa Fernandes, Zoe Planagumà, Noa Alonso, Dahna Pujo, Èlia Quilez, Emma Duró, Noa Tesorero, Carla Ber, Anna Bos and Emma Warboys.
