Andorran skier Íria Medina failed to finish the giant slalom at the British National Championships in Santa Caterina, Italy, on Saturday, after posting the 11th-fastest time of 59.93 seconds in the first run.

The 28-year-old had earlier secured 13th place in a FIS supergiant slalom at the same venue, finishing 2.50 seconds behind the winner with 66.14 FIS points—her second-best result of the season and near her personal best of 62.19 in the discipline. In the men's under-19 category, Escola Esquí Baix Envalira (EEBE) competitors Max Black and Jordi Rogel placed 20th and 21st.

Saturday's events unfolded amid widespread weather disruptions. Heavy snow and poor visibility led to the cancellation of a Popeyes Cup slalom at Ordino Arcalís, as well as races at La Molina involving national team members and EEBE under-19 skiers. Those at La Molina were called off the night before due to forecasts.

A junior national giant slalom was scheduled for Sunday at Santa Caterina, with Medina set to compete in the women's category and Black and Rogel in the men's. Results from Saturday's races emerged early Sunday from Andorra la Vella.
