Font described his comeback to the series as "magnificent," crediting ideal weather and ice conditions on the track. The event drew the maximum allowed field of 16 riders, filling the starting grid. Organisers reversed the usual circuit direction, increasing the challenge for overtaking manoeuvres.
The pilot admitted his campaign got off to a shaky start but approached the second round determined to push for the crown. "It went well—I took pole position to start. In the first race, I went out strong to pull ahead and lead; in the second, overtaking was tough, so I played it safer to avoid mistakes," he said.
Font thanked the Andorran Motorcycling Federation (FMA) and Motoclub Les Valls for staging what he called a "spectacular" championship, highlighted by two days of sunshine.
