Registration opened on Thursday, 11 December, for La Llufa, the solidarity race in Ordino that will take place on Monday, 29 December. Entries will remain open until half an hour before the start.
The race starts at 18:30 from Ordino’s Plaça Major and follows an urban circuit of about 3 km. Participation is entirely charitable: to register, runners must bring a new, non-violent, non-sexist toy, unwrapped. In return they will receive a “llufa” race bib.
All toys collected will be handed to Ràdio i Televisió d’Andorra (RTVA) for its 33rd toy collection campaign in support of Càritas, aiming to ensure no child is left without a Three Kings’ gift. After the race, hot chocolate and churros will be offered to participants.
This is the third edition of the solidarity race. Registrations can be made at the Comú d’Ordino’s Tràmits service or at the Ordino communal library.
