The Club Rítmica Serradells rhythmic gymnastics club held a charity gala on Saturday at the Serradells pavilion, raising €2,198 for the Associació Jovent en Risc d’Andorra (ADJRA). The funds will support projects tackling school bullying among vulnerable youth in the Principat.

The event drew a full house, with stands packed throughout the day, according to ADJRA president Sandra Cano. It featured sports demonstrations alongside a strong emphasis on social commitment, highlighting sport's role as an educational, inclusive, and transformative tool.

Entry was priced at a solidarity fee of €4, with all proceeds going directly to ADJRA's work in educational and social support for at-risk young people. Organisers also offered alternatives for remote supporters, including a fila 0 donation line and contributions via Bizum using code 09231.

Cano praised the turnout and involvement of the club and families. "The pavilion was packed to the rafters. I want to congratulate the organisers and families. They have made a donation of €2,198, all of which will go towards fighting school bullying," she said.

She also noted the positive atmosphere, with attendees focused on the performances rather than screens. "The best part is seeing a stadium full of people watching the acts, and checking that mobiles and screens aren't being used," Cano added.

The initiative underscores sport's contribution to social cohesion and community efforts in Andorra.
