Club Rítmica Serradells rhythmic gymnastics club organised a charity gala at the Serradells pavilion on Saturday, raising €2,198 for the Associació Jovent en Risc d’Andorra (ADJRA). The proceeds will fund projects aimed at combating school bullying among at-risk youth in Andorra.
The event attracted strong attendance, filling the stands throughout the day, as noted by ADJRA president Sandra Cano. It blended sports demonstrations with a focus on solidarity, underscoring the value of sport in fostering education, inclusion, and social cohesion in the Principat.
Admission was set at a €4 solidarity fee, with every euro directed to ADJRA’s efforts in educational and social support for vulnerable young people. Organisers provided options for those unable to attend, such as a fila 0 donation line and Bizum contributions via code 09231.
Cano highlighted the success and thanked the club and families involved. “The pavilion was packed to the rafters. I want to congratulate the organisers and families. They have made a donation of €2,198, all of which will go towards fighting school bullying,” she said.
She also praised the engaged atmosphere, free from distractions. “The best part is seeing a stadium full of people watching the acts, and checking that mobiles and screens aren't being used,” Cano added.
