Soldeu hosted its first inclusive nighttime ski descent illuminated by glow sticks on Wednesday evening, bringing together around 200 people, including children with autism.

The event, held on the Bosc Fosc piste in Grandvalira's Soldeu sector, formed part of activities linked to the AUDI FIS Ski World Cup Andorra 2026. Organised by the event's committee in partnership with AUTEA—the Andorran association for autism spectrum disorder—and Hi Arribarem!, a group promoting mountain access for people with disabilities, the descent highlighted inclusivity in winter sports.

Many of the children participated directly in the glow-lit downhill run, supported by the Adaptive Center and guided by specialised instructors from the Soldeu ski and snowboard school. This setup allowed adaptations to meet each participant's specific needs.

The evening also featured a LED-lit ski demonstration on the Avet piste, followed by a descent of the resort's snow grooming machines. The programme blended sport, spectacle, and social awareness ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
