A 44-year-old female resident riding a motorbike registered in Andorra sustained injuries in a collision with a car on Avinguda Tarragona in Andorra la Vella shortly after 1pm.

The crash took place near number 73, as both vehicles travelled northbound towards Escaldes-Engordany, close to Edifici Tarragona. Firefighters provided initial medical care at the scene with an ambulance crew of four before transferring the woman to hospital for further assessment. Her injuries do not appear serious at this stage.

Police from Andorra la Vella dispatched traffic patrols to secure the area, support paramedics and manage flow to prevent congestion. An accidents investigation unit also attended to document the incident.
