Andorra Expands L2 Bus Frequencies and Adds L3 Stop Amid Detours

Public transport services in Andorra are expanding line L2 frequencies during weekday peak periods, Saturdays, and late evenings, while line L3 introduces a new stop at Roc de Sant Miquel in Canillo.

On weekdays, line L2 adds an extra bus from 7am to 9.45am and 4pm to 8.45pm, reaching six buses per hour in each direction to cut wait times and boost capacity.

Evening services gain two new trips: one uphill from the National Station at 10.05pm, and one downhill from Funicamp at 9.39pm.

Saturdays see an additional bus from 10.30am, lifting frequencies to three per hour in each direction during midday hours to ease passenger loads.

The L3 update adds the Roc de Sant Miquel stop in both directions between Incles valley and Soldeu, improving access in the area.

Lines L2 and L4 face ongoing downhill detours in Encamp due to remodelling works on Avinguda de Joan Martí. Starting at 9.30am on Monday, January 19, routes to Andorra la Vella will reroute via Avinguda Príncep Benlloch and Carretera de Vila, while uphill routes remain unchanged and retain all stops on the affected avenue.

In the downhill direction, stops at Prada de Moles and Riu Blanc are temporarily suspended, with Ràdio Andorra serving as the alternative. The Molina stop moves provisionally to Avinguda Príncep Benlloch near Parc de l’Ossa.

Mobilitat officials state these adjustments aim to meet peak demand, extend hours, enhance connectivity, and support broader network improvements.
