The Comú of Sant Julià de Lòria will begin the second phase of renovations at the Prat del Senzill park on Monday, 1 December. The works are scheduled to last about 90 days and have a budget of €755,836.05.
The active work area will be set out between the pumptrack and the pétanque zone. Both facilities will remain open to the public until the final weeks of the project, when the construction perimeter will be extended into those areas to complete outstanding tasks.
Planned interventions include reconfiguring parking spaces, temporarily closing the toilet block and the storage area, replacing pavements, carrying out landscaping improvements and installing new children’s play equipment.
The renovation project was launched at the start of the current municipal term to respond to the deterioration of park facilities and the lack of green and leisure spaces in the parish centre. During the first phase, the Comú worked with the 2023–2024 Children’s Council, whose proposal for a pumptrack was inaugurated on 13 October 2024.
