Key Points

  • Four of 24 public rental flats in Arinsal's Ribasol Ski-Park remain unclaimed as no families met occupancy criteria.
  • Monthly rents range from €327 to €767 based on flat size (37-74 sqm) and household needs.
  • National Housing Institute assigned 20 units via notarial draw on March 31.
  • Part of government push for 650 affordable flats this term, with 70 acquired in two blocks.

The National Housing Institute has allocated 20 of the 24 public rental flats offered in block A (also known as block I) of the Ribasol Ski-Park complex in Arinsal, with four units remaining unclaimed after no registered families met the occupancy criteria.

A notarial draw on 31 March resolved ties and assigned units based on household size, as outlined in the edict published in the Official Gazette (BOPA). Monthly rents for the 37- to 74-square-metre flats range from €327.38 to €767.46, tailored to unit type and family composition. Reference prices include €298-€319 for smaller one-room units (37-40 sqm), €574-€593 for two-bedroom flats (72-75 sqm), and up to €725 for larger ones exceeding 91 sqm in some cases. Optional storage rooms add €16-€38 monthly. Rents will adjust annually to stay affordable for priority groups, such as those in housing emergencies, young people, and low- or average-income households.
