Andorra Imports Rise 1.7% to €201.5M in July as Exports Drop 9.6%

Andorra's goods imports rose 1.7% to €201.53 million in July, while exports declined 9.6% to €16.70 million, Statistics Department data shows.

The import figure marked a €3.45 million increase from July 2025's €198.08 million. Jewellery posted the strongest growth at 37.7% to €10.18 million, followed by energy with a 14.7% rise to €9.96 million and clothing and footwear up 9.9% to €15.69 million. Construction imports advanced 7.4% to €13.34 million, food grew 5% to €25.51 million, electronics increased 4.2% to €13.67 million, and industry rose 4% to €22.08 million. Beverages and tobacco edged up 1.9%. Transport remained the top category at over €42 million despite a 3.3% drop, while pharmacy and perfumery fell 5.6% and miscellaneous goods plunged 15.5% to €18.40 million.

Excluding energy, July import growth eased to 1.1%. For the first seven months, imports reached €1,180.12 million, up 4.2% or €47.82 million from 2025—or 4.6% without energy. Transport led at €222.32 million with 8% growth, jewellery climbed 33.1% to €49.58 million, and construction surged 24.7% to €77.41 million. Beverages and tobacco dipped 5.6%, as did electronics at 4.8%.

Over the 12 months through July, imports totalled €2,045.23 million, a 6.6% rise from €1,917.94 million—or 7.2% excluding energy. Construction gained 24.6%, jewellery 22.9%, and transport 9.6% to €360.57 million, partly offset by a 2% decline in beverages and tobacco.

On exports, jewellery jumped 198.1% to €5.13 million, food rose 169.8%, and industry increased 42%. Losses included transport down 65.8%, pharmacy and perfumery off 85.3%, beverages and tobacco down 60.2%, and miscellaneous falling 45.7%. Cumulative exports through seven months stood at €116.54 million, up 2.8%, with the 12-month figure at €200.34 million, a 5.8% gain.

Seasonally adjusted imports fell 0.5% from June, following a 0.1% drop the previous month, pointing to a softening trend.
