The Escaldes-Engordany parish council has received four bids for the administrative concession to operate the bar-restaurant at the Prat del Roure sports, social and cultural complex. Sources from the parish confirmed the submissions to the Andorran News Agency (ANA) after the deadline closed on Friday, 25 September, at 3pm.
Technical staff will now evaluate the proposals based on the criteria outlined in the juridico-administrative and technical clauses of the tender. The bids will be opened electronically via the parish's Electronic Tendering Platform.
The public tender was approved by the Executive Board on 27 July, following the current operator's decision months earlier not to renew its contract, which expires next October. The process aims to award private use of the space as quickly as possible.
The facility serves as a key amenity in the parish's central leisure area. Tender requirements include a minimum annual canon of €51,600, with the initial concession extended to 10 years from the previous eight, and potential extensions up to 15 years.
