University of Andorra Renews Computer Science Degree with Flexible AI and Cybersecurity Focus

The University of Andorra (UdA) renewed its bachelor's degree in Computer Science this September to match a government decree updating the qualification in 2025. The changes seek to provide up-to-date training suited to today's technological and professional landscape, while boosting access through greater flexibility.

Key updates include teaching units of 10 credits each, allowing students to pursue studies part-time alongside work or personal obligations. The programme continues in both in-person and remote modes, with full-time or part-time options.

A stronger focus now falls on two areas of rising demand: intelligent systems and cybersecurity. The degree holds accreditation from Andorra's Higher Education Quality Agency (AQUA), ensuring its quality and European recognition. Graduates receive a state-issued bachelor's title, representing the first university cycle and comparable to a grado or licence.
