Myandbank Launches Bitcoin and Ethereum Trading for Andorran Residents

Myandbank, Andbank's digital banking platform, has launched a service allowing Andorran residents to buy, sell, and hold Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) directly through its app, in partnership with Prosegur Crypto.

Announced this morning, the offering follows Prosegur Crypto's approval under Law 24/2022 to handle cryptoassets in the Principality. Tokenized assets purchased by clients are stored using Prosegur Crypto's institutional custody systems, which aim to minimize operational and cybersecurity threats. Customers can now access this market seamlessly within the Myandbank interface, bypassing external platforms or brokers.

The service relies on regulated brokerage from Minos Global—a Prosegur Cash affiliate—that meets local rules and global anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing standards. Fees stand at 0.50% for trades and 0.50% annually for custody, excluding indirect taxes; the partners describe these rates as competitive to encourage adoption.

Plans call for deeper technical links and expansion to more digital assets in a future phase. "The addition of cryptoasset trading in a secure, regulated setting—pioneering in Andorra—strengthens our focus on innovation," said Marta Bravo, Andbank's deputy CEO. José Ángel Fernández Freire, Prosegur Cash innovation director and Prosegur Crypto CEO, described the licence as "a strategic milestone" that positions his firm as a key institutional provider, adding that the tie-up will build "a more digital, diversified range of client-focused services and products."

This move places Myandbank and Prosegur Crypto among the earliest to deliver regulated crypto services in Andorra, amid rising demand for such investments in a compliant banking environment. The service rolled out this December.
