Andorra ended 2025 with 17,784 active companies registered in the Commercial Register, a 9% rise from the 16,322 at the close of 2024. This net increase of 1,462 resulted from 1,670 new registrations—up 15.3% from 1,449 the previous year—offset by 208 cancellations, down 12.2% from 237.

Single-member limited liability companies (SLUs) led formations with 1,093 new registrations, or 65.4% of the total and a 13.6% gain from 2024. Among active companies, SLUs accounted for 49.1% (8,735), followed by standard limited liability companies at 42.7% (7,599), anonymous companies at 6.3% (1,116), and single-member anonymous companies at 1.8% (315). Year-over-year growth was strongest for foreign branches, up 18.2% from 11 to 13, then SLUs at 12.6% (adding 979) and limited liability companies at 6.8% (adding 481). Statistics department figures show SLUs overtook standard limited liability companies as the leading type after 2022.

Dissolutions initiated for 198 companies in 2025, including 119 SLUs—60.1% of the total and a 157.1% jump from the prior year. Of active firms, 874 (4.9%) were in dissolution, with 418 limited liability companies (47.8%) and 391 SLUs (44.7%). Andorra la Vella topped the list with 378 such cases, followed by Escaldes-Engordany with 134. It also led initiations with 87, or 43.9% of the total.

Cancellations fell due to fewer SLU terminations (114, down 13.6%) and limited liability companies (77, down 13.5%).

Andorra la Vella held 7,796 active firms (43.8%), up 10.3% with a net gain of 729. Escaldes-Engordany followed with 3,137 (17.6%), up 10% with 285 added. These two parishes have concentrated 60% of active companies since 2017, reinforcing their role as Andorra's main business hubs. Every parish recorded a net increase.
