The Andorran government has allocated a total of €413,477.13 in subsidies for 2025 to promote high-quality meat products under the "Carn de qualitat controlada" and "Carn d'Andorra IGP" labels.
This figure includes €129,699.34 approved for the fourth quarter, announced on Wednesday by government spokesperson and minister Guillem Casal during a press conference following the Council of Ministers meeting. The amount builds on €283,777.79 already disbursed for the first three quarters, marking a 1.3% increase over the full-year funding provided in 2024.
Ramaders d'Andorra remains the sole entity authorised by the Department of Agriculture and Livestock to use the official "Carn de Qualitat controlada d'Andorra" seal, as well as the IGP label for meat sold under "Carn d'Andorra". These designations ensure controlled quality and origin guarantees for products marketed in the Principality.
