Mobile phone subscriptions in Andorra rose 5.7% in December to 134,878 users, according to the latest Statistics Department figures released Thursday.

Fixed-line telephony subscribers reached 54,287, up 2% from December 2024, while broadband internet subscriptions climbed 2.8% to 44,116, an increase of 1,217. Annual averages for 2025 showed consistent gains: fixed-line at 53,800 (up 2.4% from 2024), mobile at 130,922 (up 6%), and broadband at 43,284 (up 2.6%).

Non-internet voice traffic fell 10.9% in December to 11.16 million minutes. National calls accounted for 8.40 million minutes (75.3% of the total), down 2.8%, and international calls dropped 28.9% to 2.75 million minutes (24.7%). For the full year, non-internet voice traffic totalled 134.04 million minutes, a 7.8% decline from 2024, with national calls at 96.97 million minutes (72.3%, down 1.9%) and international at 46.52 million minutes (27.7%, down 20.3%).

Internet traffic grew 2.8% to 15.17 million gigabytes in December. National usage was 4.34 million GB (28.6%, down 2.9%), while international traffic rose 5.3% to 10.82 million GB (71.4%). Mobile internet traffic surged 36% from the previous December. Annual internet traffic for 2025 reached 167.10 million GB, up 8.3% from 2024, with national usage at 49.98 million GB (29.9%, up 6.7%) and international at 117.13 million GB (70.1%, up 8.9%). Mobile internet for the year increased 30.7%.

Seasonally adjusted data indicated stable trends: fixed-line subscriptions up 0.2% in the latest month, mobile down 0.1%, and broadband up 0.2% over five months. Non-internet voice traffic showed a mild upward trend despite a 0.8% monthly drop, with international traffic improving but still down 1.6% and national down 0.3%. Internet traffic held steady with 0.5% growth, international up 0.7% over three months, and national down 0.6% over four.
