Andorra ended 2025 with 14,051 active establishments in the Commerce and Industry Register, up 890—or 6.8%—from the 13,161 at the end of 2024, according to Statistics Department figures.

Growth occurred across all sectors and parishes, fueled by 1,523 new registrations that outpaced 633 closures. This net gain of 890 marked an improvement over 2024, when 1,366 openings exceeded 640 closures. New registrations rose 11.5% year-on-year, while closures fell 1.1%.

Professional, scientific, and technical activities led with 3,398 establishments, up 383 or 12.7%. Wholesale and retail trade, plus vehicle repair, followed at 3,341, with information and communications at 1,381, gaining 144 or 11.6%. Construction added 73 or 6.6%.

Activity concentrated in Andorra la Vella (4,817 establishments, +6.3%), Escaldes-Engordany (2,459, +7.9%), and La Massana (1,891, +6.4%), totaling 65.2% of the national figure. Ordino saw the strongest rise at 745 establishments, up 9.9% from 678. Other parishes recorded: Encamp at 1,797; Canillo at 1,259 (+6.5%); and Sant Julià de Lòria at 1,083 (+5.6%).
