Andorra Telecom Allocates €4,785 to Cancer and Social Inclusion Projects

Andorra Telecom has made its debut in the Andbus Solidari Forum, allocating €4,785 to support projects from Assandca and AUTEA after an internal employee vote.

The company shared details of the ten initiatives presented in the forum's second edition. Over two months, 77 staff members reviewed the proposals and selected two winners. Assandca will receive €2,392.50 for its "El coixí del cor" programme, which produces heart-shaped cushions handmade by volunteers. These items ease pain, protect surgical sites, and provide physical and emotional support to women recovering from breast cancer surgery.

AUTEA will also get €2,392.50 for "Reconnecta", a programme targeting adults at risk of social exclusion. It aims to enhance wellbeing, strengthen community connections, and reduce isolation, exclusion, and suicide risks by helping participants reintegrate into social life.

The participation underscores Andorra Telecom's push to deepen its social commitments through private-third sector partnerships that aid national NGOs. Andbus CEO Dani Vinseiro welcomed the involvement, calling it a privilege that bolsters the forum and helps associations. He noted that Andbus Solidari has raised more than €25,000 since launch, with a third edition planned soon to back additional charitable efforts.
