The business activity of the family group centered on Josep Batalla in Andorra is expanding beyond hospitality, with construction now accounting for the largest share of its projects. Alongside two planned towers at the Clot d’Emprivat, the group currently has three dedicated residential developments underway.
The first project is in an emerging area of Andorra la Vella, bounded by Prat de la Creu street and the bus station, and will include around one hundred apartments with three to four bedrooms. The second consists of a cluster of terraced houses in La Comella. The third is in the centre of the parish of Encamp, opposite the new commercial headquarters of Mercacenter; this development will have a smaller number of flats.
In recent days the group completed the purchase of a prominent plot in Escaldes — the parking area located opposite the comú on the other side of the river. The land was bought from a longstanding local family with substantial holdings.
The transaction was concluded for a sum in the tens of millions of euros.
