Revenues from Canillo's blue zone parking have doubled from 248,000 euros in 2022 to 493,000 euros in 2025, according to figures released by the parish council.
The upward trend has been uneven over the four years. Collections rose 21% to 300,000 euros in 2023, before dropping sharply by 28.3% to 215,000 euros in 2024. Last year marked a strong recovery, with revenues 129% higher than the previous year.
Parking lot income, by contrast, showed a slight decline over the same period, falling from 782,000 euros in 2022 and 795,000 euros in 2023 to 544,000 euros in 2024, before rebounding to 719,000 euros in 2025—a 32.2% increase or 175,000 euros year-on-year.
The Arenye ta lot, located next to the Grandvalira cable car in Canillo, led with 234,000 euros in 2025, up 36.8% from 171,000 euros the year before. Prat del Riu, in central Canillo, followed at 190,000 euros, a 27.5% rise from 149,000 euros. Basers in Soldeu generated 187,000 euros, while Font de Ferro in Ransol brought in 108,000 euros, up 28.6% from 84,000 euros.
Data for Arenys in 2025 was not available, though it recorded 23,000 euros in 2024. Despite the minor dip in overall parking revenues from 2022 levels, these facilities remain a key revenue source for the parish.
