Encamp Council Launches AI Platform to Modernize Andorra Public Services

Encamp's local council has launched a corporate artificial intelligence platform to modernise public services and lead digitalisation efforts among Andorra's parishes.

The initiative aims to adapt administrative processes to evolving technological demands, building on recent council efforts to streamline procedures and expand electronic submissions. These steps have boosted internal efficiency and improved access for both residents and public employees in recent years.

Following a detailed review involving all municipal departments, the council identified key areas for automation. The platform, set for full rollout by 2026, features two core modules: an intelligent corporate chatbot and an automatic document generator.

The chatbot will handle queries in natural language via the council's intranet and mobile devices. It will provide structured information on procedures, regulations, services, and manuals, with multilingual support and the ability to manage contextual conversations.

Meanwhile, the document generator will produce tender specifications, reports, resolutions, contracts, and other administrative paperwork. Drawing from smart templates, it will allow exports in multiple formats, cutting bureaucratic workloads and reducing errors.

Council officials described the project as a decisive step toward future-ready administration, positioning Encamp at the forefront of communal digital transformation in Andorra.
