FacturAnd: Andorra's Homegrown Billing Software Revolutionizes Local Business

Sebastián González and José Delgado, partners at FacturAnd, have developed a billing software entirely in Andorra, tailored to the Principat's unique regulatory and business environment.

The project originated from their own company's needs as an Andorran firm. They found no existing programs truly suited to local realities, with most foreign tools referencing VAT or other taxes absent in Andorra. FacturAnd provides a fully local, flexible solution without external dependencies, allowing quick adaptations to legislative changes without waiting for overseas providers.

Key advantages include full ownership of the code, enabling unrestricted modifications unlike closed systems. It operates entirely via web browser, accessible from any internet-connected device without downloads. Beyond basic invoicing, it handles technician time tracking, delivery notes, quotes, and data analysis such as profits, losses, client trends, and unpaid invoices.

Legislative updates are managed swiftly: the team monitors changes through accountants, lawyers, and official sources, then updates the code immediately—prioritised since they use it themselves. While suitable for most businesses, it currently targets service and management firms without stock needs, though warehouse management modules are under consideration.

Users report major productivity gains, with tasks like remittances reduced from hours to two clicks, and analytics offering instant business health insights. Client feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, praising its simplicity—one-click processes replace multi-window navigation in competitors. Suggestions are welcomed and often implemented, driving ongoing evolution.

Data security stands out, with all information stored in FacturAnd's own Andorran data centre—no external servers. Support comes from their sister firm DCODE, which specialises in cybersecurity.
