Andorra Turisme has opened tenders through the BOPA for three key services supporting the 2026 Andorra Taste festival, with a combined budget of 75,000 euros.
The high-mountain cuisine event is set for 16-20 September in Escaldes-Engordany, maintaining its established five-day structure. Professional sessions will take place from Wednesday 16 to Friday 18 September at Sala del Prat del Roure, including lectures, debates and roundtables with international chefs and Andorran culinary figures. Public activities and tastings will follow from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 September at Parc del Prat del Roure.
The tenders, published this Wednesday, accept submissions until 29 July. The largest allocation, 28,000 euros, covers rentals of infrastructure and furniture, such as weather protection systems like tents or canopies, along with high tables and stools for the outdoor space. All materials must be fully installed by Thursday 17 September and removed immediately after Sunday's close.
A 27,000-euro contract targets accommodation in five-star hotels in Escaldes-Engordany or Andorra la Vella. It will provide around 250 nights starting Monday 14 September for speakers, foreign press, journalists and the organising team from co-organiser GSR/Vocento, at a maximum of 200 euros per night for a double room used individually.
The remaining 20,000 euros funds temporary staffing via an agency, covering about 2,200 hours across roles like kitchen assistants, waiters, dishwashers, loaders, hostesses and cashiers for both professional and public days.
This step initiates logistical planning to reunite sector professionals and local restaurateurs.
