The Centre d'Art d'Escaldes-Engordany (CAEE) has closed its exhibition Celebrant Marilyn 1926-2026, honouring the iconic American actress and 20th-century pop culture figure Marilyn Monroe, after attracting 5,159 visitors over three months.

Comú officials issued a statement describing the outcome as "very positive," pointing to the attendance as proof of widespread appeal among Andorran residents and tourists alike. The data highlight the show's draw through personal choice, with 57% of visits made individually rather than via organised groups.

Local residents formed 55% of the audience, reflecting strong community interest, while tourists accounted for 45%. Among foreign visitors, Spaniards led at 29%, followed by French at 9% and other nationalities at 7%.

Visitor ages skewed towards adults, with 75% over 25 years old. Children and youths up to 14 years represented 17%, and the 14-25 age group made up 8%.

Escaldes-Engordany authorities praised the choice of subject for capturing Monroe's lasting fame. They emphasised that the results strengthen the CAEE's status as a leading cultural venue in Andorra, able to host quality displays that engage citizens and enhance tourist attractions.
