UNICEF Andorra Raises €15,960 in Debut Three-Day Flea Market

UNICEF Andorra raised €15,960 at the 17th Encants Solidaris flea market, marking a strong success in its debut three-day run at the organisation's new solidarity space on Avinguda Meritxell.

The event showcased donated clothing, accessories, home decor, and various other items from individuals and businesses such as Flors del Paradís, Joieria Cristina Cerqueda, El Rollo, Pollyanna, Noranta Tres, Eva Grau, My Corner, and private donor Patricia Sañes, among others. Strong public response underscored Andorran society's support for responsible consumption, sustainability, and social initiatives, with organisers noting the market's role as a unique venue for discovery and community solidarity.

The flexible proceeds will fund UNICEF's global efforts, enabling aid for thousands of vulnerable children through access to clean water, education, healthcare, proper nutrition, and protection from violence and emergencies. These resources allow responses to the most pressing needs worldwide.

UNICEF Andorra expressed deep gratitude to donors, collaborating firms, volunteers, and buyers for their contributions of goods, time, purchases, and support. The new venue's launch represents a significant step, positioning it as a key gathering point for solidarity, sustainability, and child welfare commitments.
