Escaldes-Engordany parish council is set to launch its “Re-Estrena” WhatsApp channel on Monday, April 20, offering residents a direct way to access photos of reusable items in good condition from the local waste facility.

The initiative, promoted through the council's social media, targets objects arriving at the facility that staff review and repair if necessary before deeming them fit for a second life. Each Monday, the channel will share a selection of these items, available for free pickup at the facility throughout that week on a first-come, first-served basis, with no option for reservations. This approach ensures fair access while keeping operations simple and minimizing paperwork.
