Andorran SAAS Tenders €150K Renovation of El Cedre Centre's Outdoor Areas

The Andorran Health Care Service (SAAS) has opened a tender for renovating the outdoor areas at the El Cedre sociomedical centre, with an estimated contract value of up to €150,000.

The works target the centre's gardens, terraces, and paved surfaces to improve user safety and mobility amid the deterioration of current exterior flooring. New durable, non-slip pavements will replace the old materials, alongside upgrades to drainage and rainwater systems, to support easier circulation and expanded open-air activities.

The project divides into three phases: the first, at €80,000, covers the main garden rehabilitation; the second and third are budgeted at €45,000 and €25,000.

Contractors will remove more than 400 square metres of synthetic decking overall—105 square metres in phase one and 162 square metres in each subsequent phase. Highlights include a new 30-metre-long, 1.5-metre-wide therapeutic pathway tailored for those with limited mobility, using stamped concrete with a non-slip surface.

Further enhancements involve installing eight outdoor LED floodlights, a new irrigation system for trees and planned raised planters or therapeutic vegetable gardens, and refurbishing the external garden maintenance shed.

The successful bidder must finish within two months of formal award and provide at least a five-year warranty on all work.
