Andorran SAAS Tenders €150K Renovation of El Cedre Centre's Outdoor Areas

SAAS aims to replace deteriorated flooring at El Cedre sociomedical centre with durable pavements, upgraded drainage, and new features like a therapeutic pathway and LED lighting for better user access.

Key Points

  • Tender renews gardens and terraces to improve mobility and fix unsafe flooring.
  • Replaces 400+ sqm synthetic decking with non-slip pavements and better drainage.
  • Includes therapeutic pathway, LED lights, irrigation, and planters in three phases.
  • Work must complete in 2 months with 5-year warranty.

The Andorran Health Care Service (SAAS) has opened a tender valued at up to €150,000 to renovate the outdoor spaces at the El Cedre sociomedical centre.

The project targets the renewal of garden areas and terraces to enhance user mobility and address deteriorated exterior flooring that poses safety risks. Planned upgrades include replacing over 400 square metres of synthetic decking with high-resistance, non-slip pavements, along with improved drainage and rainwater systems.

The works divide into three phases: the first, budgeted at €80,000, covers the main garden rehabilitation and removes 105 square metres of decking; the second and third phases, at €45,000 and €25,000, each involve 162 square metres of removals. Highlights feature a 30-metre-long by 1.5-metre-wide therapeutic pathway in stamped concrete for those with limited mobility, eight LED floodlights, an enhanced irrigation system for trees and planned raised planters or vegetable gardens, plus repairs to the garden shed.

Contractors must finish within two months of award and provide at least a five-year warranty on all components.
