Man in His 60s Dies by Suicide During Andorra St John's Eve Festivities

Emergency services responded to a report of a man found without vital signs at a home in Andorra's Margineda urbanisation during the St John's Eve celebrations, but he could not be revived.

The incident occurred on Tuesday night around 11pm, when police, fire service medics, and the Medical Emergency Service (SUM) were dispatched to the residence near the local schools. The man, aged just over 60, was discovered in a critical state. Firefighters initiated resuscitation efforts immediately upon arrival, followed by neighbours who had already attempted to assist with revival manoeuvres before professionals reached the scene.

Despite these interventions, the attempts failed. SUM teams later confirmed the death, certifying that it had resulted from suicide. Police have verified their presence at the location but released no further details.
