Private Foundation for Support and Inclusion Appoints Thaïs Mingorance as New Director Amid Growth

The Private Foundation for Support and Inclusion—formerly known as the Private Tutelar Foundation—held its Honour Board meeting on Thursday to review 2025 activities, reporting a significant increase in the number of people supported and presenting Thaïs Mingorance as its new general director.

Appointed in February after working at the SAAS, Mingorance takes leadership during a key growth phase for the organisation. The meeting highlighted major projects, including the "Fem Vacances" inclusive leisure programme, which the foundation said performs better each year by fostering essential shared living experiences. The "Supported Flats" initiative currently houses six people, offering not only shelter but also vital support to reduce isolation and strengthen social and emotional connections.

Daily activities have expanded notably, with more practical and creative workshops such as cooking sessions, market visits, and music classes aimed at enhancing personal autonomy, community interaction, and societal integration for beneficiaries.

Foundation president and Social Affairs Minister Trini Marín expressed satisfaction with the progress. She said the new director's arrival caps a year of expansion and drives further improvements in individual well-being, thanks to the shared efforts of professionals, volunteers, and partner organisations working toward a truly equitable and humane society.

Attendees included Honour Board members General Syndic Carles Ensenyat, Episcopal Co-Prince representative Eduard Ibáñez, and French Co-Prince Cabinet Director Robert Mauri. Regular patrons present were Social Affairs Minister and foundation president Trini Marín, Justice and Interior Minister and vice-president Ester Molné, Andorran Banking representative Esther Puigcercós, Marc Jové for the seven parishes, Josep Rodríguez, Lawyers' Association representative Sophie Bellocq, and Mingorance.
