Andorra had 41,071 households as of 30 June 2026, up 0.3% from 40,928 at the end of the first quarter, according to Department of Statistics figures. With an estimated resident population of 89,752, the average household size reached 2.19 people, a tenth of a person higher than the 2.18 recorded three months prior.

Parish-level data showed stark contrasts. Andorra la Vella topped the list with 11,395 households, followed by Escaldes-Engordany (7,117), Encamp (6,613), La Massana (5,735), Sant Julià de Lòria (4,143), Canillo (3,655) and Ordino (2,413).

All parishes saw quarterly household increases except Canillo, down 6.5%, and Sant Julià de Lòria, off 0.1%. Sant Julià de Lòria held the highest average size at 2.49, ahead of Ordino (2.40) and Escaldes-Engordany (2.29). Canillo had the lowest at 1.78, trailed by Encamp (2.07), La Massana (2.14) and Andorra la Vella (2.18).

Single-person households dominated at 37.4% of the total. Those with two people made up 25.5%, three- to five-member units 32%, and larger households over five people just 5.4%. The data underscore a prevalence of smaller households across parishes, with varying shares of single-occupancy and multi-member units.
