Andorra's Passport Ranks 36th Globally in 2026 with 159-Destination Access

Andorra's passport has dropped to 36th place worldwide in the 2026 Passport Reports index, three positions lower than in 2025, with a mobility score of 159 covering 80.3% of global destinations via visa-free entry, visas on arrival, other simplified options or electronic travel authorizations.
This allows access to 99 countries without a visa, 50 through arrival or similar procedures, 10 via eTA and prior visas for the remaining 39. Half of analyzed destinations require no visa at all.
Europe offers complete coverage across 46 destinations, with 45 visa-free and only the UK requiring an eTA. No European country demands a prior visa. Among 47 continental passports, Andorra ranks 34th. Gulf states also provide 100% access: the UAE allows visa-free entry, while Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Oman offer visas on arrival or equivalent systems.
South America achieves 91.7% coverage, with Guyana the sole visa-required destination. North America reaches 87%, including eTAs for the US (up to 90 days) and Canada (up to 180 days). Asia coverage stands at 76%, with 18 visa-free countries like China, Japan, Georgia and Turkey, 17 simplified entries, three eTAs and 12 needing prior visas.
Notable simplified options include Australia's eVisitor (90 days), Nepal's e-visa (150 days), arrival cards for Malaysia, Singapore (30 days) and Thailand (60 days), and Cape Verde's EASE (30 days). The eTA group covers the US, UK, Canada, South Korea, Kenya, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Israel, Côte d'Ivoire (90-day pre-registration) and Seychelles (90-day tourist registration).
Within the eurozone, Andorra places 23rd out of 27. Among 57 OSCE members, it ranks 36th and 92nd out of 199 for inbound travel ease. Andorrans can readily reach China, India, Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Thailand and Vietnam, though citizens of countries like Brunei, Grenada or Tonga find Andorra entry easier.
The ranking has varied recently: 29th in 2020 (114 points), 34th in 2021 (135), 35th in 2022 (158), 39th in 2023 (160), 35th in 2024 (162), 33rd in 2025 (161) and now 36th (159). The index provides no specific reasons for the changes.
