Body of 64-Year-Old Man Found in Andorra la Vella Apartment After Month Unseen

Emergency services in Andorra la Vella located the body of a 64-year-old man in his apartment on Carrer Bonaventura Riberaygua Wednesday afternoon, after neighbours in the Prada Ramon building reported not seeing him for nearly a month. The alert came in at around 6:50pm, with responders confirming death on site from natural causes and no evidence of foul play.

The man, who lived alone, had likely died about a month earlier, according to initial estimates based on the scene. Police noted he had endured longstanding health problems, apparently linked to a personal crisis years ago that disrupted his life. Previously a capable worker in the security sector for decades, he had faced significant challenges since then. An autopsy at the national mortuary will establish the precise time of death.

Neighbours grew worried after weeks without sightings and no response to attempts to reach him. Firefighters used tools to gain access, allowing police and medics inside, where staff pronounced the death. All personnel wore masks due to conditions inside.

The response involved four emergency vehicles positioned along Carrer Bonaventura Riberaygua and nearby Callaueta, plus two police motorcyclists for traffic control.
