The Ordino parish council launched a new leisure space for children and young people in La Cortinada on Saturday, January 24, offering a safe and welcoming meeting point tailored to families in the ground floor of the Quart building.

Open every Saturday from 3pm to 7pm during the school year, the facility will pause in July and August. A dedicated supervisor oversees operations and assists users. Designed as a multipurpose area, it includes a play zone for younger children with their families and a separate section for teens to do homework, group projects, or board games. Occasional organized activities and performances are planned for children and youth.

The opening featured the family animation show *A tota màquina* at 5:15pm.

Council members fitted out the space with specialized furniture and materials to promote social interaction, shared play, and support for educational and recreational pursuits. The initiative underscores Ordino's focus on family support, community proximity policies, and fostering social cohesion among the parish's younger population.
